AOL's Voice Services team is based in Halifax, N.S. and we develop products that help AOL and AIM customers manage their calls and messages and make PC-to-phone calls. The Halifax team began as a start-up called InfoInterActive, developers of Internet Call Manager (ICM). ICM was a stand-out service that helped customers avoid missing calls while they were dialed up to the Internet.
The start-up was acquired by AOL in 2001 and we've since developed and launched voice services enjoyed by over a million customers.
